And YES, I designed and painted the watercolor for this label. What process. 3 attempts to get it right.
The first label: loved the result. Then my husband decided it would look good in yellow, so I painted that, but the orientation of the flowers meant we couldn’t fit the writing, nor did it suit the bottle style!
The 3rd label – ahh…same flowers, diffferent orientation, added the honeycomb effect using that piece shown in the picture and added some extra bees…Perfect!
I left the label making to the beekeeper himself. Nick chose the font, added all the legal details required etc and had his 1st batch printed.
Final result…thrilled to bits. It turned out really well. Here’s to some successful sales.
PS: This is the 2nd label I’ve designed for a beekeeper and its been great fun both times.
